The hottest thing in advertising right now are the Word to Link pages, or maybe you’ve heard them called Word Clouds, or Word Claim, Buy a Word or perhaps something else.

When I first saw the 500words site I thought - why I didn’t I think of this, this is great.  This word link idea is a simple idea that offers value to advertisers, and the potential for some nice money for owners.

In fact the first site, built by the Linksizzler script, offered 500 words at a minimum of $100 per word.  The 500 words sold out and the owner made at least $50,000 minus the price of having the script built.

When other marketers saw this happening, they wanted the word link script so they too could build a buy a word site.

So, the LinkSizzler script was released with a price tag of around $500 with the price increasing periodically.

I thought about purchasing the script, buy I knew that sooner of later someone would come out with a similar word list script for a lower price.

It didn’t take long.  Now you can easily build Word List sites, just like I did.  I built a home business Word List and an Investment Word List site.  You can see them at http://buyaword.homebizfind.com and http://word.investseeker.com .

I just put these sites together and it took just a few minutes.  The new BuyMeAWord script is a great, easy to use script for a fraction of the price of the LinkSizzler script.

I was tempted to keep quiet about this inexpensive word link script for a while, so I could build a lot of word link sites with less competition.  But, I realized there is a lot of room for everyone to succeed.

These word sites are a brand new concept with a lot of income potential.  With a little imagination you might just come up with $50K site.

I recently came across an interesting ebook that goes into detail about how to make money using Google Adwords and the Clickbank Affiliate Program.

The guy who write this book Eric Holmlund, takes you step by step through finding a product though Clickbank, setting up a simple review of the product and setting up a Google Adwords campaign to direct people to your review site.

Now, this is nothing new, but I have never seen a better guide to setting this all up. And, this is coming from a guy who has made over $10,000 a month with Clickbank.

Since this is something I have never tried before, I decided to give it a try. The great thing about this method of making money is it takes very little time to set up and cost very little money.

With the time it takes to set this up, I figure I could easily setup one of these sites a day in about an hour. Let’s say I setup a site a day for the next 30 days. That would mean I would be promoting 30 products a month from now.

Since I have no idea how much I will be spending each day or how much I will make, let’s like at some hypothetical numbers.

Lets say I spend .10 per click per campaign per day. The most common sale per click through on the internet is around 1%. Lets say I get 50 click throughs per day for each campaign. The cost to me would be 50 X .1 X 30 = $150 per day. It would result in about 50 X 30 visits X .1 sale rate would be about 15 sales. Lets say the average per sale would be about $20. Then I would earn about 15 X $20 = $300 per day. Subtracting the $150 spent on the Adword campaign would give me about $150 profit per day. That’s about $4500 per month in profit.

That’s not a bad profit for an hour of work each day. And, once setup it’s pretty much on autopilot with the exception of tweaking your ads, or changing products for more profit.

Adsense marketing is a hot topic. It’s basically using different marketing techniques to generate revenue using Google Adsense. Every time a hot topic pops up in the internet marketing world a ton of software and ebooks come out about that topic. This has been all too true with Adsense marketing.

Back in late June I put together a few Goolge Adsense sites and told you I would update you on the results of this site - see http://homebizfind.com/blog/2005/06/26/google-adsense-is-the-rage/

I put together a site around the theme of high speed internet deals on one of my subdomains.

The theory I have put behind this is to purchase Google Adwords ads around the highspeed internet deals theme and purchased the clicks for less than I earn when people click on my Adwords ads.

Over time my profit has slowly been growing, so I have decided to put this site on it’s own domain now, which should bring more traffic over time.

Now I’m not making the thousands a month that many people are making, but I am profiting about $300 a month. Not a great deal of money, but what if I put together 10 of these sites.

In a few months I could be making about $3000 a month - not bad.

You can do the same thing. The key is to find a theme where you can purchase inexpensive keywords and then direct people to your site where you optimize your web page to have Google display high paying keywords around the same theme.

This is the difficult part, finding those inexpensive keywords that provide enough clicks to earn money on the higher paying keywords.

My theme, high speed internet deals, is not a great paying theme. I’m sure there are a number of high paying themes you can use. It will take some thinking on your part to find those themes.

My goal in the new year is to put together at least one new theme each month.

Niche marketing has become a popular and profitable method of generating extra income from home.

The basic process is:

1. Find a keyword, or set of keywords, that a large number of people that are searching for.

2. Building a search engine optimized (SEO) site.

3. Plug Google Adsense ads into the site.

4. Find affiliate programs for your keyword niche, and plug those affiliate programs into the site.

5. Automatically pull niche related articles into the site to provide content for the site.

6. Getting traffic to the site by blogging about the site and/or using pay per clicks (PPC) to get people to the site.

Have you noticed lately that there have been a lot of people offering ebooks on Google Adsense?

Lately I have seen at least a half dozen ebooks on how to make money on Google Adsense. I have to admit the people offering these books seem to be making a lot of money with Google Adsense.

I have seen screen shots of people making $30-$200 a day. Now, $20 a day, or $600 a month is not bad. But, if you have 10 different web sites making that kind of money, that would be $6000 a month - I can handle that!

So, I decided it was time for me to learn more about Google Adsense, put some pages up and see what I can do.

First I investigated high paying Google Adwords keywords. Then I came up with a number of topic keywords based on one specific high paying keyword. Then I built a number of web pages, each geared specifically towards the topic keywords.

This site should be indexed in a few days, thanks to my blog, and we’ll see what happens.

I’ll keep you posted on the earnings of this web site. If it proves to be profitable, I’ll share with you all the tools and techniques I used to build my pages.

There is a big change coming in the way home businesses are worked.

Here is the current model for most work at home businesses:
1. Get people to a website or company conference call.
2. Follow up to see if they went to the website or conference call.
3. If they did go to the website, follow up to get them on a company
conference call.
4. Call them after the conference call to try to close them, or three
way them in with your sponsor.
5. If they aren’t yet closed, follow up with them 3 more times.
6. Play phone tag throughout the process.

Aahh…no wonder most people aren’t successful using this model - it’s a LOT of work.

So, what is the new model?

How would you like to focus all of your efforts on marketing, and let professionals take prospect phone calls, follow up with prospects and close your prospects?

The New Model Becomes:
1. Get people to the call center via online, or offline advertising - period - done!

I found a company that is using this new model. I guarantee that when other companies see the success of this new model, they will start moving towards it.

I believe this new idea will transform the home business industry, and those individuals who start using this new model now will be way ahead of those who don’t.

Every once in a while, I come across online business ideas that make good sense. I will be sharing those ideas with you.

I found one recently that I really like. It’s really a simple idea. This person built a business promotion system that uses a popular free website promotion service and a low cost money making program.

What I really like about this idea is he is gaining new members for his money making program from the current members of the advertising service. He is showing those people how to make money using the free advertising service that they are already a member of.

He is also making money and earning advertising credits as new members sign up for the free advertising service, and the money making program that are the main components of his system.

The system contains a simple one page website that steps the visitor through the 3 easy steps to set up the system. New members also get a free replicated website, and access to a forum that provides advice and even sample ads to use with the free advertising service.

As a result of this simple idea, this person is signing up new members daily and is always on the money making companies leader board. Furthermore, many of the team members using his system are on the leader’s board. I’m not on the leaders board yet, but I am having enough success with this system to keep it interesting.

When I see ideas like this, I always ask myself - Why didn’t I think of this? A simple idea that is making a number of people a fair amount of money.

Oh well, they are plenty of great ideas out there that haven’t been thought of yet.
